Retromobile 2019
Porte de Versailles - Saturday February 9, 2019
Discover here this little report on this annual outing which is a real playground for all photographers!
This is the story of one of those reports exclusively made with heart and passion.
Here, no instructions, no customers, no constraints; What fun.
The difficulty
The difficulty of this outing, which I have been doing now for 3 years, lies in the fact that nothing is done at the base to take beautiful photos. Industrial lighting, a lot of people, cars often surrounded by safety cords etc...
It is therefore important for me to quickly take advantage of the slightest source of light present on site. None of these photos were taken with additional lighting or otherwise.
Equipment
Armed only with a Canon Eos R & a Canon 50mm f/1.2, it was necessary to exploit the smallest details, vanishing lines, reflections and light sources.
With a constant setting at F1.2 it is important to have a very precise focus so as not to have the main subject blurred.
Everything else can be blurry.
Curves & Colors
With cars all from different worlds, it's a huge palette of colors & shapes that are on display.
It's like a huge playground for me!
